DESCRIPTION

What is Balancer pH 2.5?

Balancer pH 2.5 by Code Zero is an acidifying rinse-out conditioner that completes colour, bleaching and perm services: with a pH of 2.5 it brings the hair back to an acidic pH after alkaline chemical services and leaves it soft, shiny and easy to comb. Applied after the Color Fixx wash and left on for just 1-2 minutes, it fits into every colour service in the 1000 ml salon size. Coconut and sweet almond oils give the lengths a silky, supple feel, while Cetrimonium Chloride makes detangling easy.

Who Balancer pH 2.5 is for

  • Colour and bleaching services, as the acidic care step at the wash basin.
  • Perm services, to bring the hair back to an acidic pH.
  • Coloured, bleached and sensitised hair that needs softness and easy detangling.
  • Salons that work with the Code Zero post-colour routine: Color Fixx first, then Balancer.

For both post-colour steps in one kit, or an acidic toning mask for blondes, see the comparison below.

Key ingredients

  • Citric Acid: sets the acidic pH of 2.5 that rebalances the hair after alkaline services.
  • Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil and Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil: plant oils that give the lengths softness and shine.
  • Cetrimonium Chloride: a conditioning agent that makes detangling easy and smooths the look of the hair.
  • Cetearyl Alcohol and Olive Glycerides: give the conditioner its creamy texture and keep the hair supple.

Results

Right after rinsing, the hair feels smooth, soft and supple and the comb glides through it. The surface looks even and shiny, freshly coloured or lightened hair shows bright, clear reflections, and frizz is less visible as the hair dries. A small amount is enough for the whole head, which keeps the step quick at the wash basin.

How to use Balancer pH 2.5

  1. After colouring or bleaching, wash thoroughly with Color Fixx to remove the dye residue, then towel-dry.
  2. Apply Balancer evenly throughout the hair, distributing it with a comb for an even application.
  3. Leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. A small amount is enough.

For professionals

  • Service: acidic care step of colour, bleaching and perm services, at the wash basin after the Color Fixx wash.
  • Processing time: 1-2 minutes, then a thorough rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Formats: 1000 ml salon size.
  • After the service: Stabilizer pH 3.5 on towel-dried hair as the leave-in final step, then styling.
  • Home care to recommend: for coloured hair, INEJ Color Protect Shampoo at every wash and INEJ Color Protect Mask once or twice a week.

Balancer pH 2.5 compared

  • vs Perfect Color Care Duo: the Code Zero kit that pairs Color Fixx pH 5.5 and Balancer pH 2.5, the wash and the acidic conditioner of the post-colour routine. Balancer pH 2.5 suits salons that restock the acidic step on its own; the Duo suits starting the complete two-step routine in one purchase.
  • vs No Glow Yellow Mask 300: the 300 ml Code Zero toning mask with violet pigments and an acidic pH of 4.0, left on for 2-5 minutes on bleached and blonde hair. Balancer pH 2.5 suits every colour, bleaching or perm service; No Glow Yellow Mask suits light hair that also wants a cooler tone.
