Where to find it
Log in with your PRO account: the module is on the homepage, in the area with the salon tools. Only PRO accounts see it, because it calculates with your reserved prices.
How to use it, in 3 steps
- Choose the brand. NIKA, Code Zero or Edelstein.
- Find the product. Type part of the name in the search field or pick it from the list. You see its picture and a link to the product page.
- Enter how many you sell per month. The calculator starts from 5 units: change the number to match your salon.
What you see
- Net margin per unit, in CHF and as a percentage of the selling price.
- Your purchase price, VAT excluded: your PRO price.
- Recommended retail price, VAT included, exactly as your clients see it on cliCHair.
- Retail price excl. VAT: the part that really stays with you, because VAT goes to the tax authorities. The margin is calculated on this figure, so it is never inflated.
- Profit per month and per year, based on the units you sell.
- The "Order N units" button, which adds exactly that quantity to your cart.
An example (figures made up for illustration)
Take a retail treatment with a recommended price of 39.80 CHF incl. VAT and an example PRO price of 25.80 CHF:
- retail price excl. VAT: 39.80 ÷ 1.081 = 36.82 CHF;
- net margin per unit: 36.82 − 25.80 = 11.02 CHF, that is 30% of the selling price;
- if you sell 8 a month: 88.16 CHF a month, 1’057.92 CHF a year.

FAQ
Is the margin shown my net profit? It is the difference between the retail price excluding VAT and your PRO price excluding VAT. It does not include your salon costs (rent, staff, shelf space). It is an indication to compare products and plan your retail.
Do I have to sell at the recommended price? No, the selling price is your decision. The recommended price is the one cliCHair applies to the public, and it is a safe reference because your clients find it online too.
Why does a product not appear in the list? The module shows only products intended for retail, and only those with a real margin at the recommended price. Professional formats, colours and salon products are not included.
Where else can I see the margin? In Quick Order too: next to every retail product you see the recommended price and your profit per unit.
