Color Fixx pH 5.5
DESCRIPTION
What is Color Fixx pH 5.5?
Color Fixx pH 5.5 by Code Zero is an acidic after-colour shampoo that washes freshly coloured, highlighted and bleached hair with a light, gentle lather and removes the alkaline residue left by chemical services. Its mild amphoteric and sugar-derived cleansing base is without SLES/SLS, and its pH of 5.5 makes it the first step of the Code Zero post-colour routine, followed by Balancer pH 2.5. Sweet almond oil leaves the hair soft and radiant, in a 1000 ml bottle for the salon and for home care.

Who Color Fixx pH 5.5 is for
- Freshly coloured, highlighted or bleached hair, as the first wash after the service.
- Coloured hair at home, for a gentle wash that keeps the colour looking bright and shiny.
- Salons that close every colour service with the Code Zero post-colour routine.
- Those who prefer a soft lather without SLES/SLS.
For a care shampoo of the INEJ line, or both post-colour steps in one kit, see the comparison below.
Key ingredients
- Disodium Cocamphodiacetate and Coco-Glucoside: mild amphoteric and sugar-derived surfactants for a soft, balanced cleanse without SLES/SLS.
- Citric Acid: sets the pH of 5.5 and helps remove the alkaline residue of the service.
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil: an emollient oil for soft, radiant hair.
- Glycerin: a humectant that helps keep the hair hydrated.
Results
The hair comes out clean, light and soft, and the fresh colour looks bright and shiny from roots to ends. The lather is soft and rinses out easily with lukewarm water, and the lengths are ready for Balancer pH 2.5, which completes the routine with smoothness and easy combing.
How to use Color Fixx pH 5.5
- Apply about 10 ml to wet hair, massaging gently until a light lather forms.
- Leave on for a few moments to remove the alkaline residue.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and repeat if necessary. Avoid hot water to keep the colour shiny.
For professionals
- Service: first wash after colour, highlights and bleaching, to remove the dye residue before the acidic conditioner.
- Amount per service: about 10 ml (around 100 washes per 1000 ml bottle); long or thick hair needs more.
- Formats: 1000 ml, for the salon wash basin and for home use.
- After the service: Balancer pH 2.5 on towel-dried hair, left on for 1-2 minutes and rinsed.
- Home care to recommend: Stabilizer pH 3.5 as a leave-in step on freshly washed, towel-dried hair.
Color Fixx pH 5.5 compared
- vs INEJ Color Protect Shampoo: the 500 ml care shampoo of the INEJ Color Protect line, with camellia and hemp seed oils, left on for 2-3 minutes at every wash. Color Fixx pH 5.5 suits the wash right after the colour service and the routine with Balancer; INEJ Color Protect Shampoo suits everyday care of coloured hair with the conditioner and mask of its line.
- vs Perfect Color Care Duo: the Code Zero kit that pairs Color Fixx pH 5.5 and Balancer pH 2.5. Color Fixx suits salons that restock the wash on its own; the Duo suits starting the complete two-step routine in one purchase.
