What is Grace Color 8.7?
Grace Color 8.7 (8B) by NIKA is a professional ammonia-free permanent colour cream: a light blonde with a brown reflect, level 8, that covers grey hair. The brown reflect (7) gives a full light blonde with a brown tone. Dermatologically tested, it is mixed with Activators at 1:1.5, and one 60 ml tube is one application.

The starting base decides the colour
Grace Color 8.7 deposits a brown reflect and, with the right Activator, lifts the base by up to three tones. The result is the shade plus what the hair already contains, so the base comes first: its level, the percentage of white hair and the condition of the hair decide the Activator volume.

Starting point: level 8, natural or coloured, regrowth to cover.
Formula: 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 + 90 ml of Activators 10 vol (1:1.5).
Processing time: 30 minutes on the regrowth (35 with white hair), then emulsify through lengths and ends for 5-10 minutes.
Result: the shade is reached at its own level, with no lift.

Starting point: level 7 with white hair, one tone darker than the shade.
Formula: 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 + 90 ml of Activators 20 vol (1:1.5).
Processing time: 40 minutes, 5 extra minutes for the white hair included.
Result: lifts 1 tone and covers the white hair at level 8.
Grace Color 8.7 on a level 5 base: maximum lift in one step
Starting point: level 5, three tones darker than the shade.
Formula: 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 + 90 ml of Activators 40 vol (1:1.5).
Processing time: 45 minutes.
Result: lifts 3 tones. Darker than level 5, 8.7 does not reach level 8 in one step.
Grace Color 8.7 on a level 4 or darker base: lighten with Blondeness Up to 7, then colour
Step 1, lightening: Blondeness Up to 7 (lift of up to 7 levels, controlled): 35 g of powder + 70 ml of Activators (1:2), volume chosen by how much lift is needed. Apply to dry hair, away from the scalp, and check every 5 minutes: 35 to 45 minutes, never more than 45.
Step 2, colour, same day: rinse, towel-dry, then apply 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 + 90 ml of Activators 10 vol (1:1.5) for 30 minutes; on very porous hair 5 vol.
Note: a strand test shows the result first. Blondeness is not used on damaged or brittle hair.
Grace Color 8.7 on a very dark or artificially coloured base: lighten with Blondeness Up to 9
When: level 3 or darker, or a dark artificial colour, where more lift is needed.
Step 1: Blondeness Up to 9 (lift of up to 9 levels): 35 g of powder + 70 ml of Activators (1:2), volume chosen by the lift needed, 30 to 45 minutes, checked every 5 minutes, never more than 45.
Step 2, same day: rinse, towel-dry, then 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 + 90 ml of Activators 10 vol for 30 minutes (5 vol on very porous hair).
Note: the result depends on the colour history of the hair: strand test first, then the service is assessed in the salon.
How to use Grace Color 8.7
- Wear gloves. Apply on dry, unwashed hair.
- Mix 60 ml of Grace Color 8.7 with 90 ml of Activator (1:1.5), choosing the volume from the table above.
- Natural hair, first application: apply to lengths and ends and leave for 15 minutes, then apply to the roots and leave the whole head for the time in the table.
- Coloured hair, regrowth: apply to the roots for the time in the table, then dampen, emulsify and bring the colour through lengths and ends for 5-10 minutes.
- Rinse until the water runs clear, then finish with a shampoo for colour-treated hair and a nourishing conditioner or mask.
Expert colourist tips for Grace Color 8.7
- Many white hairs: add the natural shade of the same level in proportion to the white hair: with 50% white hair, half Grace Color 8.0 and half 8.7, still mixed 1:1.5.
- Regrowth: after the time on the roots, many colourists leave the colour on lengths and ends for 15-20 minutes, adjusting it to the white hair.
- Processing by zones: many colourists adjust the processing time zone by zone to the percentage of white hair.
- Blondeness: 20 or 30 vol cover most lightening services; 40 vol is kept for the strongest lift and used rarely.
- Darkening onto light hair: to go from a bleached or very light base to 8.7, pre-pigment first with a shade slightly lighter than 8.7, at 5 or 10 vol, for 20 minutes.

Orders received by 12:00 from Monday to Friday leave the same day. After 12:00 they leave the next business day. Friday afternoon and weekend orders leave on Monday.
All deliveries are made against signature on receipt. You receive the tracking link by email or SMS.
Damaged or uncollected parcels
If the parcel arrives damaged, report it within 48 hours: photograph the packaging and the products, keep the box for the carrier inspection, and send us the images together with your order number. We file the claim with DHL.
If a parcel comes back to us because of a wrong address, failure to collect within the deadline or refusal on delivery, both the carrier return costs and the original shipping fee are deducted from your refund.
Returns and refunds
You can request a return within 14 days of receipt, from the self-service area of your account or by writing to customer care.
For hygiene reasons we only accept products that are intact, unused and still sealed. If the seal is open or the product shows signs of use, the return is refused.
If the error is ours, the return is free. Otherwise return shipping is at your expense, 5% of the product price is withheld for logistics and quality control, and the original shipping fee is not refunded.
The refund is processed within 3 business days of the returned product being checked.
