How to use
- In a non-metallic bowl, mix Vibrant Color 01 Toner Ash 1:1 (toner:developer): 10 vol for a subtle toning effect, 20 vol for stronger neutralisation of warm tones.
- Apply to dry, unwashed hair. On virgin hair, distribute from mid-lengths to ends and leave on for 20-30 minutes.
- On previously coloured hair, apply to the roots first, then distribute through the lengths for an even toning effect.
- Emulsify with lukewarm water, massaging gently to a light lather for uniform distribution.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear and finish with a colour-safe shampoo.
Results and expectations
A cool, refined ash result that cancels yellow and orange on a pre-lightened base. As a deposit toner it adds and corrects tone rather than lifting, so start from an evenly pre-lightened base for the cleanest result. Choose 20 vol for deeper, more defined neutralisation and 10 vol for a softer, more natural finish. Toning fades with washing: refresh as the warmth returns, typically every few weeks.
