Level 5, a warm light brown in the higher-pigment "+" version, formulated with a higher pigment concentration for fuller coverage on resistant and grey hair, including resistant grey. How to use
- Mix 1 part Vibrant Color 5.+ with 1 part developer (1:1): 20 vol for complete, natural even coverage on challenging hair, 30 vol for a more vibrant effect, 10 vol for softer shades, 40 vol for greater lightening.
- On virgin hair, apply to the lengths and ends and leave on for 20 minutes, then apply to the roots for a further 10 minutes.
- On previously coloured hair, apply to the roots and leave on for 20 minutes, then comb through the lengths and ends for the last 10 minutes.
- Emulsify with a little warm water, massage, then rinse until the water runs clear and finish with a colour-safe shampoo.
Results and expectations
A warm, even light brown from roots to ends with full grey coverage at 20 vol, including resistant grey, thanks to the higher pigment concentration of the "+" version. Hydrolyzed wheat protein and beeswax help protect the fibre during processing, leaving hair soft and shiny. As a permanent colour it grows out at the roots: plan a regrowth touch-up every 4 to 6 weeks.
