Its ammonia-free, ready-to-use formula colours and nourishes in a single step, depositing direct pigments for a pure, cool, full-coverage black with vibrant reflections. No oxidiser is required and the colour fades gradually and evenly.

Results
A deep, full-coverage black with cool, radiant reflections and magnetic depth, uniform and well-defined without unwanted shifts.
How to use
- Wash with a gentle shampoo and towel-dry to remove excess water. Do not apply conditioner or masks before colouring, so the pigment adheres perfectly.
- Apply the colour mask evenly using a wide-tooth comb. Always wear gloves: black pigments stain skin and surfaces.
- On natural or already dark hair, leave on 5-15 minutes to enhance shine and depth; on pre-lightened or bleached hair, leave on 15-20 minutes for an intense, long-lasting black.
- Emulsify with a little lukewarm water, gently massaging to ensure even distribution.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. To lock in and extend the richness of the black, apply Stabilizer pH 3.5.

Do I need an oxidiser? No. It is ready to use and works without ammonia or developer.
Can I lighten my hair again afterwards? A black deposit on pre-lightened or porous hair is difficult to remove and can make a later lightening service harder and less predictable. Discuss it with a professional before going black on lightened hair.
Does it cover grey hair? It tones and blends white hair rather than giving the full, lasting coverage of a permanent colour. White hair is also more porous and can take more pigment, so a strand test is recommended.
How do I get the most intense black? On pre-lightened hair leave on 15-20 minutes; on natural or dark hair 5-15 minutes.
How do I soften the black? Mix Gems 81 Black with Gems C Clear for a softer black or a subtle gradient.

We ship with DHL Express in Switzerland.
Under CHF 99 shipping costs CHF 5.80. From CHF 99 it is free.
Orders received by 12:00 from Monday to Friday leave the same day. After 12:00 they leave the next business day. Friday afternoon and weekend orders leave on Monday.
All deliveries are made against signature on receipt. You receive the tracking link by email or SMS.
Damaged or uncollected parcels
If the parcel arrives damaged, report it within 48 hours: photograph the packaging and the products, keep the box for the carrier inspection, and send us the images together with your order number. We file the claim with DHL.
If a parcel comes back to us because of a wrong address, failure to collect within the deadline or refusal on delivery, both the carrier return costs and the original shipping fee are deducted from your refund.
Returns and refunds
You can request a return within 14 days of receipt, from the self-service area of your account or by writing to customer care.
For hygiene reasons we only accept products that are intact, unused and still sealed. If the seal is open or the product shows signs of use, the return is refused.
If the error is ours, the return is free. Otherwise return shipping is at your expense, 5% of the product price is withheld for logistics and quality control, and the original shipping fee is not refunded.
The refund is processed within 3 business days of the returned product being checked.
Subscription
On products that offer it you can set up automatic delivery every 30 or 60 days, with automatic billing. Subscribers have priority access to stock.
You can pause, skip a delivery, change address or payment method and cancel at any time from your account, with no penalty.
