How to use
- Mix 1 part Vibrant Color 4.71 with 1 part developer (1:1): 10 vol to darken or tone pre-coloured hair, 20 vol for perfect grey coverage or tone-on-tone, 30 vol for slight lightening on natural hair or to enhance the ash tone, 40 vol for more dramatic lightening.
- On virgin hair, apply first to the mid-lengths and ends, leaving about 2 cm from the roots, for 10-15 minutes, then apply to the roots and leave for a further 20-25 minutes.
- On previously coloured hair, apply to the regrowth for 20 minutes, then distribute through the lengths for a further 10 minutes.
- Emulsify with a little warm water, massage gently for even distribution, then rinse until the water runs clear.
- Finish with a colour-safe shampoo.
Results and expectations
A deep, neutral brown with a cool, slightly smoky finish and full grey coverage at 20 vol. Blue-green couplers give an anti-brass effect, while panthenol and hydrolyzed wheat protein help keep the fibre soft. As a permanent colour it grows out at the roots: plan a touch-up every 4 to 6 weeks.
